About

What this site records#

Tried & Noted is a personal blog about travel choices, things I have actually tried, and the steps I used to investigate technical problems. The aim is to leave a record whose reasoning I can revisit and that can help someone facing a similar choice.

A researched itinerary is not the same as a visit report. Each article explains its scope near the beginning so readers can tell the difference.

Editorial and verification standards#

  1. Give sources different jobs. Official sources take priority for facilities, rules, and operating information. Other people’s reviews help identify strengths, weaknesses, and variation; their experiences are not presented as mine.
  2. State both findings and limits. Observations, possible explanations, and unverified causes are kept separate. A comparison table summarizes trade-offs rather than declaring a universal ranking.
  3. Keep the reference date visible. Prices, menus, opening hours, and booking conditions can change. Check the date noted in the article and confirm current terms with the official provider before acting.
  4. Be clear about tools. AI and automation assist with research organization and translation. They are not a reason to invent numbers or turn an untested idea into first-hand experience. Only selected public material is reviewed for the Korean and English sites.

Photos and explanatory images#

Photos documenting an experience are used within the scope of that experience. Some article covers are explanatory illustrations, not photographs taken at the destination. A cover does not establish that I visited a place. Read the article’s experience or research notice as well.

Corrections and publication boundaries#

When information changes or an inaccurate expression is identified, the relevant article is revised and its update date is shown. Sponsored or affiliate relationships should be identified separately when present.

This site does not synchronize a private notebook or vault. Only material selected for publication is included. Reservation identifiers, private contact details, credentials, and sensitive school, financial, or health records are excluded. Comments and contact forms are not currently operated.
